Why does «blue -day» means sad day? During my last bout of depression I kept pondering this question. A blue day in Quito, where I live in, (and according to my perception) means a day with clear sky and at 2800 meters above sea level the clouds swim over a deep blue ocean blue.
That is, just when the weather seems ironic about my state of mind.
This exercise is a sample of this irony: the tea bags showing clear skies from which my heavy reasons for sadness hang.
